Many thanks for the fabulous experience today. We didn't know what to expect but we were very glad that we did it. Our guide has so much knowledge and experience as her family have farmed here for many years. We learnt so much about how lemons are farmed and the different sorts of lemon that exist and the process of producing limoncello. The icing on the cake was the tasting. The lemonade was by far the best I have ever tasted and the organic Limoncello was beautiful. The tour was exceptional. Our host took the time to explain the history of the lemon grove. She also provided detailed information about the growing, harvesting and upkeep required for the lemon trees. She took the time to answer all of our questions. She led us through the tour at a good pace so we had time to take photos and ask questions. The views from atop the hill were stunning. The tasting of the lemonade, lemoncello and lemon cake of her patio was perfect. I have had a lot of lemoncello and I have to say this was the best I ever had. Our tour was wonderful! Joanna was informative, personable & passionate about her job..which is her family’s organic lemon farm. She answered all of our questions with her wealth of knowledge regarding lemon/citrus farming. The tasting of lemon cake, lemonade and lemoncello at the end of the lovely tour was perfect. I would recommend comfortable clothes & shoes. Also, I would highly recommend this farm tour to understand Amalfi’s lemon history & the importance of organically farming.

It was a great informative tour. Our guide was one of the owners of the farm, she spoke passionately about the history of lemons in Amalfi and about the various types that exist. We learned the importance of agriculture and bees and how to make limoncello. The tour was 2 hours. We tasted a delicious homemade linen and cheese cake, organic limoncello and organic lemonade, all made of the farm’s lemons. Our guide was very patient and informative, she had an answer for every question we had. Now I am going to make my own limoncello!

We loved this historical lemon tour! Coming to Amalfi, we severely underestimated how busy and crowded it can be here. This tour was a great way for us to experience a more authentic side of Amalfi just outside of all the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip. Giovanna shared historical knowledge through out the tour about the area leading up to the lemon farm, the lemon farming techniques and her family history. They also provided us with homemade homegrown lemoncello, lemonade, and lemon cake. She was incredibly accomodating throughout. She confirmed our booking time and location via WhatsApp and allowed us to take our time as we left the farm at the end of the tour. My wife and me had the pleasure of experiencing the lemon tour and aperitivo on a stunning panoramic terrace within a beautiful garden overlooking the sea. We really enjoyed this tour. It was a great experience at a local, family-run, organic farm. It was a very unique experience and we learned a lot about the citrus fruits that grow here. I don’t normally like limoncello that much, but the organic limoncello they make here was very good and tasted so much better than anything I’ve tried before, I had to buy a bottle to take home!

The family history she shared about what goes into having a thriving lemon garden for years was so inspiring. A lot goes into growing healthy and organic lemons. AMAZING! Out of all the tours done in the amalfi coast this was our highlight. The garden is so beautiful with views of the coast and city of Amalfi. We were a small a group and had an amazing tour learning about the different citruses that are grown on the family farm. The tasting was delicious and the quality was the best we have had. Highly recommend this tour, a must do when on the Amalfi coast!!

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. Not only was it fun learning more about Amalfi, the agricultural history and lemons but the tour is hosted by the family of the property. Giovanna was very personable and made the tour fun, educational and interactive. Joana was a great host and explained everything about the organic lemons they are growing over more generations. It was amazing to see and watch the love they give to their trees and their huge garden. We also had the chance to try a lemon cake, limoncello and lemon soda, which the family made themselves. So sweet to meet the family members. Joana answered all the questions we had and we definitely recommend this wonderful, authentic tour in the heart of Amalfi. The lemons taste spectacular! This was easily one of my favorite tour experiences ever. Amalfi Historical Garden is an organic lemon farm on the cliffs of Amalfi proper behind the main port of the city. It is a farm that can tie its original roots back to the 11th century over 1000 years ago when it most likely produced grapes. Now, they are primarily focused on citrus (lemons and oranges). You do a short hike up the sides of the cliff which is very scenic on a bricked path to the garden gates and then get to see all of the beautiful lemon trees inside and sit for a sample of products made with their organic lemons. Honestly I've never tasted such a pure lemon. Many of these lemons our guide told us are native to the Amalfi coast and can only be grown there. Thank you to Giovanna for an amazing experience. I will never forget it.

Maybe the most interesting and beautiful part of our trip to Italy. Giovanna was extremely kind with a great story of her own. Interacting with her, you will come to feel a part of something very special by helping keep this family business running and by supporting natural growing practices for a better Earth. Our tour ended with a picturesque view of the trees and a slice of Giovanna's mother's homemade cake, fresh lemonade, and limoncello. We even got to meet her mother, father and sister briefly. It's a true family affair. Travel is a wonderful way to meet and learn about the experiences of people who live vastly different lives than you do, and this was the most genuine connection we experienced on this trip. We really enjoyed the tour through the historical garden. Giovanna told us all about the agricultural history of the farm and about the harvest and challenges of growing lemons, oranges and the challenges of running a organic farming business. We liked every aspect of the tour, especially Giovanna and her family (and their cat Silvestro), who where really hospitable and answered all of our questions. The delights after the tour (limoncello, freshly baked cake and candied lemon peel) where magnificent! We were very lucky and were only able to experience Giovanna's tour as a couple. She led us through the picturesque backdrop and her family's area for almost two hours. We learned in great detail how lemons are grown and harvested organically. We were particularly impressed by the trees, some of which are over 100 years old, and the way they are cared for and further developed. You can feel how much love the family puts into growing the lemons. Each new sprout is checked and cared for by hand. very impressive. Afterwards we were able to try the home-made delicacies such as lemonade, limoncello, lemon cake and candied lemons on the beautiful terrace in the middle of the lemon farm and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. A truly magical place. Of course we couldn't leave without purchasing a bottle of limoncello. We would like to thank Giovanna for this wonderful experience and the variety of information. We 100% wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

My boyfriend and I booked this lemon tour very spur of the moment, not knowing what to expect. We were looking for something fun to do as we visited the town of Amalfi. I can speak for both us when I say we were blown away by the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. Giovanna greeted us with a big smile and walked us to her family's lemon farm where she thoroughly explained the lemon growing process by walking us through the gardens and pointing out different lemons. We were able to ask many questions throughout and we were impressed by how knowledgeable and passionate she was about her family business. After the tour of the lemon trees and garden, Giovanna brought us to the terrace where she and her family lives and served us the most delicious homemade ‘delicato’ lemon cake, lemonade and limoncello. I have already been to the Amalfi Coast and had taken part in a cooking class experience elsewhere: it was amazing! Anyway, this one at the Historical Garden is absolutely the best!
